Introduction

Founded in 2014, REALMEDIA is currently one of the 10 leading digital marketing companies in Israel. The company specializes in a number of digital services, including web design (UI/UX), custom complex website development, ecommerce website development, SEO and PPC marketing on Google and social media sites, website ROI improvement, and web hosting, among others.

The REALMEDIA team has more than 20 years of proven experience helping brands, startups, and businesses with their online activity, as well as with managing their digital assets. According to founder and CEO Dan Vinokurov, their mission is to lead customers to online business success, by generating more leads, traffic, and revenue. With over 10 years of experience in online marketing, he certainly seems like the man for the job!

Cloudways: How did you first hear about Cloudways?

Dan: We first heard about Cloudways as part of our research for a reliable managed cloud hosting company. Our difficulties involved finding a scalable hosting solution tailored to our needs. We first tried to use Cloudways services with a couple of small clients without any unusual needs, as part of a feasibility study to move to their service. And after successfully implementing the service on small clients, we started moving our large sites as well.

Dan: Prior to using Cloudways, we used the hosting services of other companies, including physical servers in Israel and cloud providers around the world. Some of our operations still use these services and we plan to make a full transition to Cloudways during the third quarter of 2021.

Cloudways: What was your experience like with Cloudways when you first signed up?

Dan: The signup process to Cloudways was very user-friendly. We set up a server in one of the large cloud services with 1-click. The management system is friendly, and the support team helped us with the first steps in the transition through chat. We received a full answer to all our requirements; it’s even exceeded our expectations. ​

Cloudways: How has Cloudways contributed to the success of your agency?

Dan: As part of the process of development and maintenance, we often have to set up servers and development environments to perform tests on staging environments and push them to production. The Cloudways platform allows us to do this in 1-click, and within less than 60 seconds. ​

And that’s all we need to keep the sites working and stable! It allows us to focus on our customers and service. We are saved valuable time that is channeled to business growth. ​

Dan: We use Digital Ocean and Vultr High-Frequency cloud services because it is the most cost-effective for us and the value for money is awesome.

Cloudways: How do you use Cloudways to solve your client’s problem(s)?

Dan: When we develop e-commerce systems or sites that require a lot of server resources, we prefer to store them in a neutralized and exclusive environment (VPS). This lets the site utilize the full resources of the server regardless of the other sites stored there.

So the customer enjoys using the resources of the big cloud providers at a fair and convenient price, and we can sleep well at night knowing the websites stored on Cloudways are stable, monitored, secured, and backed up.

Cloudways: How do you resell Cloudways to your clients?

Dan: We offer Cloudways services as a built-in service on each website we develop and maintain. Our end customers might not necessarily know what it takes for the site to work and be hosted online. So we give them a 360-degree solution that incorporates Cloudways hosting services as well.
